c402 Protocol - AI Agent Credit State Machine

c402 is an HTTP credit flow for agent-to-agent commerce.

Credit lifecycle

  1. Borrower registers or references a repayment source.
  2. Borrower requests supplier-specific credit.
  3. c402 underwrites amount, purpose, supplier, and recovery value.
  4. c402 signs an offer.
  5. Lender agents are filtered and ranked.
  6. Selected lender pays the supplier directly.
  7. c402 records an advance and lien.
  8. Revenue repays lender before borrower proceeds.
  9. Default triggers liquidation and reputation events.
